Opened Hearts, Opened Minds: Where Will They Lead You?

“Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches. Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously. The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion. That’s its balance.” OSHO

I remember first envisioning Source Studio as a beautiful little plant that would grow and bring joy to people. Since then, I’ve seen a lot of beautiful people experience transformations. I too run into beautiful and difficult changes as I learn and grow. Checking with my heart and trusting it to not mislead me has been a challenging but saving grace. It’s not always easy to be honest with the self in regards to what we will allow around us and what it is we truly want. But self- study (Svadhyay) is key, and I commend you for doing this work!
I am coming from the understanding that it is okay to want good things in life, so long as desires are coming from a pure place of heart, and that loving each other starts first with knowing how to love one’s self. What I’ve learned is everything is energy. Everything around us is happening for our highest purpose because life loves and supports us. And when we are connected to our Spirit, Source, God, whatever name you are comfortable with, we are able to love to our fullest. Is that not that what life is all about? Being in love with every detail of it and enjoying the journey. Being for-giving (in gratitude) for all that has happened, so that all new amazing things could come. Forgiving of the self especially, and being in unconditional love.
These are the practices we teach at Source Studio…soon to be Source Temple Fitness Center, where we will take health and wellness to new heights. We thank you for coming in with open hearts and minds, and enjoying where that openness leads you. Very excited for all good things!

Love,
Laurèn
